Covering the Long Beach City Council

Long Beach City Councilmember Dr. Robert Garcia is a co-founder of the Long Beach Post,. Robert officially released himself from all of our company's editorial and business operations to run for public office. Since December 5, 2008, Shaun Lumachi has served as the publisher and decision maker on all editorial and business operations. 

All of Robert's assets relating to the Long Beach Post shall be placed in a blind trust where Robert has no knowledge of the holdings of the trust and no right to intervene in its handling at any time. 

The Long Beach Post only accepts advertising revenue from non-general fund entities of the City of Long Beach.
