Judy C. Hi Dennis: In our article we mentioned the READ program. This program is designed for children to read to animals. Luckily, there are many reading programs throughout our country that provide the same loving and understanding service to children from the animals and their guardians! This has proven to be extremey helpful, as animals are non- judgemental and the children are comfortable reading aloud to them. Also, such animal shelters as, Pasadena Humane Society, who take the time to do the same for children with their reading to animals program. Animals give the children their support and I am sure the children would be delighted about the reading- to- animals program at, Long Beach Animal Care Services! I am certain that each reader that attended the Pet Literacy program would be every bit as supportive to the children as they were to the shelter animals. I commend them for their support! Nikol Intresting, Id like to test drive one pee wee way hi im pee wee. Anonymous Anonymous
