It came and went with the blink of an eye. Long Beach's first admission-free food truck event took over the Zaferia-South (ZaSo) Design District today, on Coronado Avenue at Anaheim right here in Long Beach. From 11:30 to 2:30 the sidewalks were packed with business professionals, soccer moms, students and passers-by enjoying a variety of eats – a result of the vision of 4th District Councilmember Patrick O'Donnell.

Two of the best things in life are food and politics. So my trip last month to Washington, D.C. and Philadelphia, PA was a perfect marriage of two things I love.
