PHOTOS: Garage Theatre's Apocalypse Wow

12:15pm | They advertised it as the end of the world, but like so many times before, the prophets turned out to be mere profiteers.

To give the Garage Theatre your money is to ensure the aberrant prattle this cult spreads like so much santorum continues unabated for another year.

Their gospel was on full display without decorum or modesty during a fundraiser last night at Alex’s Bar.

Not only do I take umbrage at being lumped in with anything Santorum-ish, but your small and unruly blurb failed to mention the dozens of beatific smiles, incredible music and the fact that not once did we ask for money during the event. The door was our fundraiser and local hero and epic bar owner Alex got the bar. A win-win situation for the arts and locals. Perhaps you could illuminate the struggling artists in your circle of friends as to more illustrious ways to raise money for the arts when civic opportunites shrivel and dry up in this harsh economic climate? Grow up and say something intelligent, Mr. DeBoom

Gosh, I assumed it was all tongue in cheek, especially when I saw the gang of photos.

Had there not been at least a touch of irony, I probably would not have read thes story, to see the event I neglected. Boom on Mr. DeBoom

If I hadn't been there these pictures would definitely make me upset that I hadn't gone. What a gorgeous and fun group of people the Garage Theatre and their friends are!

Jamie's right. Needs a lot more about the beatific smiles.Because everyone is frowning in the pictures.
