+ The Salvation Army and Kroc Center provided the LBPOST.com with this video rendering of the inside lobby of the future Long Beach Kroc Center today. Other videos were provided and we're working to load them for you as quickly as possible. But for now, check out the lobby design! allowfullscreen="true" height="344" width="425">Last month, officials stated that nearly $18 million in additional funding was still needed to begin construction. Today, the center is inching toward that goal but still has a ways to go. An Environmental Impact Report will be presented to the City Council on July 21, and if approved, the Kroc Center will aim to begin grading the land in September. Ground will likely break next Spring. The proposed site is currently occupied by the Hamilton Bowl, which will need to be reconfigured to continue operation once the center is under construction. Nikol This is really awesome Dave in Alamitos Beach This is fun. Does anyone know if the Kroc Center is going to be open to everyone? I hope so. TheMan 562CityLife Will it be called the Kroc Center? Or will it have another name?
