Latin American Parade & Festival Draws Thousands

A new tradition rang through the streets of Downtown Long Beach over the weekend, as the inaugural Latin American Parade & Festival was held in front of thousands of spectators who cheered wildly at the pageantry representing several Latin cultures. With one of the most diverse populations in the nation, Long Beach celebrated the vibrant life of its people with the parade and subsequent festival which took place on Linden & 1st Street - including more than six hours worth of musical acts, dozens of vendors and activities and a children's center for the niņos.
