I wan't Brad Shore for my district, he really cares about our community, and the other candidates are just power-hungry.

BUGGA BOO BOO
Now let's keep things straight - Noooooo twinkle toes and I want them lean & clean and above all, tough for our City!

BUGGA BOO BOO
Let's change that to: Green, Lean, Clean & Mean for our City!

Mike
Why won't Mayor Foster debate his only challenger Stevie Danielle Merino?

BUGGA BOO BOO
Well to begin with: Age difference. 2nd: Lack of knowledge - let alone experience. 3rd: She's a kid on an ego trip!

Sander
I'm really surprised that someone, albeit anonymously, would so freely express blatant homophobia here. As for the Mayor, I hope he debates any and all candidates. He's a smart and articulate guy, and I'm sure he can hold his own against anyone. As for not debating Merino because of her age, I'm not sure that's valid. Youth does not preclude the ability to think creatively, or to put a talented and experienced support team together. Also, it helps to understand what the Mayor actually does. The real power comes from controlling the board and commission appointees. Anyway, I'll do my best to be at the debate!

CHARLIE to Sander
I agree with what you said, but in Marino's case, it would be a total waist of Foster's busy schedule. If you heard her speak, you soon realize she's a radical socialized unionist with zero business or managerial experience, which is the last thing the City of Long Beach, particularly of its magnitude, needs. Her decision to even think of running for Mayor demonstrats her poor judgement; Remember, Bob Foster was Vice President of Edison, and we are very fortunate to have a person of his caliper as our Mayor!
