710 The 710 Freeway was and still is the deadliest freeway in Southern California. It was never intended to handle all that port truck traffic. witness I saw this accident happen and it was so fast. In my opinion, the cal trans did not even support the fact that they were workin. normally the cal trans would have like a trail of cones indicating work ahead. Not this time they had two cones really close to the cal trans van. I hope the guy in coca cola truck is ok. he was hanging out the window gagging for air. the Lord was with him, because that coca cola van was really damamged on the passenger side and driver side looked as if an angel kept harm from getting to him ed i also witnessed, the coca cola driver looked like he was texting of pasting out before the accident. joe i worked with this guy from coca cola. he always is pasting out due his heath condition> he should not have been driving a company van. concerned im wondering how the CALTRANS people are doing? Queen Diabetes is a disease and thousands of people function normally and can work regular jobs with the disease. It should not prevent him from driving. More people should donate to the ADA so more research can be done and we can find a way to cure people who have this disease. tom Way to go Joe & back-stab your own co-worker, some friend are you! Learn how to spell while your at it, maybe that's why you are where you are! Same goes for you Ed... He wasn't texting on the phone either! Get your facts straight before convicting anyone, besides the gentleman is innocent till proven guilty. JOE I still can't see how someone could'nt see those bright orange CAL TRANS vans on the shoulder out of the traffic lanes!!! it could have been someone changing a tire there. Well just be more aware of Cal Trans workers, there are there to repair the roads everyday!!!! Mr. Crowly Now I know why the company laid off some of their employees the Friday after the accident..;) I hope every one is doing ok. Best wishes to all of you involved in this terrible accident. ed This accident could have been avoided if the driver from coca cola had his drivers license revolked from the DMV. blacking out is very seriuos, and someone who continues to black out should not be driving!!! the management should fire this preson before someone gets killed. AMEN...
