48-year-old Kenny Perry grabbed his 14th tour win on Sunday at the Travelers Championship, beating Paul Goydos by three strokes. Perry shot a 63 to finish with a tournament-record 258 over the four days in Connecticut.
"You know, he was just the better man [yesterday]," said Goydos, who now has second-, third-, and fourth-place finishes in his last four tournaments. "He's swinging it good. I don't think he had too many bad shots. He played the golf tournament to shoot 63 and win. It's a big difference shooting 63 on Saturday and shooting 63 on Sunday."
Goydos had an eagle on 15 and a birdie on 16, but it wasn't enough to catch Perry.
