Ex-Ram Wins National Player Of The Year

Luis Gonzales, Millikan class of 2007, just won a major
award—a few weeks ago he was named National Player of the Year from the NSCAA,
an honor establishing him as the best JC men's soccer player in the
country. A forward for Cerritos
College, Gonzales led the Falcons to a state title as a freshman, and to a no.
2 in the nation ranking as a sophomore.
He scored 27 goals last season.

Thank you LBPostsports for writting this small column about this amazing talented athlete. I've been fortunate enough to see Gonzales play when he was at Millikan and it was clear that his game will elevate and make him the great soccer player that he is today. National player of the year? wow!!! He sure is representing Long Beach to the fullest. Congratulations, by the way does any one know whats next for Gonzales as far as his soccer career goes? Pro contract, Scholarship, or where he is playing at now?
