Viewings and final services have been planned to celebrate the life of 12-year old Dallas Humphreys, a Long Beach PONY baseball player and avid sports fan who succumbed last week to a long bout with leukemia.

The viewing will be held from 5:00-9:00pm this Thursday evening at Forest Lawn Cemetary in Cypress, the Humphreys family posted recently on a CaringBridge.org journal. There will also be services held at the Forest Lawn church at 5:00pm this Friday.

in that journal entry:
We would also like to Say "Thank You" to all the wonderful friends that spent the last couple nights at ELB to pay respect and participate in the Candlelight Vigil. It was very touching to our family during this very difficult time.

The CaringBridge.com page has more detailed information and a guestbook to sign and share your feelings, if you would like to do so. The page counts almost 50,000 page visits from friends and family, as well as ten donations to CaringBridge in Dallas' memory.
